Use WordPress.com to log into WooCommerce.com. Connect and access both sites and accounts with one login/password.

Existing WooCommerce.com users

Already logged into WordPress.com

If you have a WooCommerce.com account and are already logged into WordPress.com:

  1. Go to My Account at WooCommerce.com at: woocommerce.com/my-account/.
  2. Authorize WooCommerce.com to use your WordPress.com account to log into WooCommerce.com when prompted.
  3. Approve.
  4. Select I have an existing WooCommerce account on the next screen to connect your existing WooCommerce.com account to your WordPress.com account.
  5. Continue.
  6. Enter your WooCommerce.com username and password on the next screen to connect your WooCommerce.com account and all related information to your WordPress.com account.
  7. Connect Account.blankblankblank

You are now logged into WooCommerce.com and can view your My Account Dashboard, Downloads, Orders and Subscriptions, and open or check status on Tickets.

Already have a WordPress.com account but not logged in

If you have an existing WooCommerce.com account and are not logged into WordPress.com:

  1. Go to My Account at WooCommerce.com at: woocommerce.com/my-account/.
  2. Enter the email address/username of your WordPress.com account.
  3. Enter the Password for your WordPress.com account on the next screen.
  4. Log In.
  5. Choose to connect your existing WooCommerce.com account to your WordPress.com account by selecting “I have an existing WooCommerce account.”
  6. Continue.
  7. Enter your WooCommerce.com username and password on the next screen to connect your WooCommerce.com account and all related information to your WordPress.com account.
  8. Connect Account.

You are now logged into WooCommerce.com and can view your My Account Dashboard, Downloads, Orders, and Subscriptions, and open a Support Request.

Don’t have a WordPress.com account

If you have an existing WooCommerce.com account and do not have an existing WordPress.com account:

  1. Go to My Account at WooCommerce.com at: woocommerce.com/my-account/
  2. Click the Create an account text link on the next screen
  3. Sign up for a WordPress.com account by entering an E-mail Address, Username and Password.
  4. Click Continue to signup.
  5. Approve to authorize WooCommerce.com to use your WordPress.com account to log into WooCommerce.com.
  6. Choose to connect your existing WooCommerce.com account to your WordPress.com account by selecting “I have an existing WooCommerce account.”
  7. Continue.
  8. Enter your old WooCommerce.com username and password on the next screen to connect your WooCommerce.com account and all related information to your WordPress.com account.
  9. Connect Account.

You are now logged into WooCommerce.com and can view your My Account Dashboard, Downloads, Orders, and Subscriptions, and open a Support Request.

New WooCommerce.com users

Don’t have a WordPress.com account

If you don’t have a WordPress.com account and need to register a new WooCommerce.com account, you are brought to the signup screen.

  1. Select Get started on the homepage of WooCommerce.com.
  2. Sign up for a WordPress.com account by entering an E-mail Address, Username and Password.
  3. Click Continue to signup.
  4. Approve to authorize WooCommerce.com to use your WordPress.com account to log into WooCommerce.com.
  5. Select I don’t have a WooCommerce account.
  6. Continue.

Already have a WordPress.com account

If you have an existing WordPress.com account you would like to use to sign up on WooCommerce.com:

  1. Go to My Account at WooCommerce.com at: woocommerce.com/my-account/
  2. Enter the email address/username of your WordPress.com account.
  3. Enter the Password for your WordPress.com account on the next screen.
  4. Log In.
  5. Approve to authorize WooCommerce.com to use your WordPress.com account to log into WooCommerce.com.
  6. Select I don’t have a WooCommerce account.
  7. Continue.

FAQ

What WordPress.com account should I use?

If you have an existing WordPress.com account that you would like to use you can log in with that accounts details.

If you are developing stores for clients and/or manage multiple WooCommerce.com accounts, you do not need to connect your WooCommerce.com account to your personal WordPress.com account – you can create a ‘generic’ WordPress.com account, and connect that to your clients WooCommerce.com account.

Will my clients be able to see other client’s information after this change?

No, nothing has changed with regards to how information is handled or its confidentiality. Your WooCommerce.com account behaves just as it did before, it just uses a different login system.

My client’s sites also use Jetpack, which is connected to the client’s personal wp.com account. Will this additional connection to wp.com interfere with the Jetpack connection?

No, it won’t affect your client’s Jetpack installation and/or the personal WordPress.com account they used to connect Jetpack.
