  3. Click Add selected to have the Assistant add one instance of each widget to the sidebar.

The Assistant adds filters with a default configuration that you can later customize. You will find the widgets added to the sidebar on your WordPress Dashboard under Appearance > Widgets.blank

For example, you could enable thumbnails for a product attribute to make the choices more intuitive and visually appealing for your customers.

The Assistant will not offer to add the live Product Search Field widget, as the Assistant focuses on live filters that affect the contents of the shop page. To add the Product Search Field widget to a sidebar, simply go to Appearance > Widgets and look for the Product Search Field widget.

In case it isn’t already obvious — you can add any of these filters by yourself without the Assistant. You can add them directly from the Appearance > Widgets section of the WordPress Dashboard or by using the Customizer under Appearance > Customize.blank

Please refer to the Widgets section of this documentation for details on the settings for each filter.
