With the options described in this section, you will be able to understand how Blog, Portfolio, and Shop work.


General

Blog, Portfolio & Shop

  • NavigationChange the functionalities of navigation in these post types. You can hide the header and sticky arrows or enable to option to navigate in the same category. This does not apply to Woocommerce products.
  • Navigation | Header ArrowsSelect the style between simple and classic.
  • Navigation | Sticky ArrowsChoose which elements should be displayed – default, arrows only, or images only.
  • Share BoxOption is responsible for displaying or hiding the share box.
  • Share Box | StyleSelect the style between simple and classic.

Blog, Portfolio

  • All pagination pages display a full list of pages in pagination instead of a short one.
  • Love BoxDisplay the Love Box on the posts/single projects.

Single Post, Single Portfolio Project

  • Featured Image CaptionOptions to enable or disable captions for the featured image. You can also hide it only for mobile devices.

Caption for Featured Image can be set in the WordPress Media Library.

 
  • Title tagSelect which heading type you want to use for your single posts and portfolio projects.

Blog

Layout

  • Posts per page Set the number of posts on the main blog page.
    This is also the amount on the search page.
  • LayoutChoose the layout of the main blog page; you can select from: Grid, Classic, Masonry Blog Style, Masonry Tiles, Photo, Photo 2, and Timeline.
  • ColumnsSpecify the number of columns for Grid, Masonry, and Photo 2 blog layouts. We recommend using 2-3 columns for best results.
  • Title tagSelect which heading type you want to use for your blog page.
  • Post ImageSelect if you want to use the default way of displaying featured images, which can be replaced with sliders and videos, or if you want to force the featured image even when a slider or video post type is chosen.

Important!

There are exceptions

The post image option will work for all blog styles except Masonry Tiles & Photo 2.

 
  • Full WidthEnable/Disable full-width layout for the Masonry blog style.

Options

  • Blog PageAssign the main blog page if you are not using a dedicated page. This means you are using the default way of displaying posts in WordPress.

The main blog page in WordPress

The option above does not work if you want to set up a dedicated page for displaying posts. You still have to set this page in WordPress settings > reading.

 
  • Order By Select which of the following you want to order your posts: date, title, or random.

Important!

Do you want to use random?

If you want to select this option, remember that it will not work with pagination or load more options. All posts must be displayed on one page to sort them in random order.

 
  • OrderChoose between descending and ascending order.
  • Exclude CategoryYou can exclude categories from the blog page. Remember to type the category slug and separate more than one with a coma ( , )
  • Excerpt LengthMaximum amount of words in the excerpt.
  • Post MetaChoose which information should be displayed in your blog. You can choose from author, date, categories, and tags.
  • Load MoreShow the “Load More” button instead of pagination links.
  • FiltersSelect which filters you want to display. The options are: show, show only categories, show only tags, show only authors and hide.
  • Filters | jQuery filteringEnable or disable the dynamic posts filtering. This does not reload the website.

Quick Tip!

Always show all posts

If you enable jQuery filtering, you must display all of your posts on one page without pagination or load more options.

 

Single Post

  • TitleEnable/Disable the Single Post title on all single posts.
  • Zoom ImageEnable/Disable Zoom Featured Image on click.
  • Author BoxEnable/Disable Author Box info.
  • CommentsEnable/Disable comments.
  • Layout IDUse a custom layout for all single posts.

  • MenuSelect a custom menu for all single posts. It will replace the default menu.
  • Intro | PaddingDefine padding for the Intro Header template. More information about single post templates is here.
  • CountProvide the number of related posts to display.
    The 0 value will disable related posts.
  • ColumnsHow many related posts do you want to display in a row?
  • Post ImageDefine what type of media you want to display. Only the featured image or a video and slider you selected for this post.

Advanced

  • Random LoveGenerate a random love number for posts.

Portfolio

Layout

  • Posts per page Set the number of posts on the main portfolio page.
  • LayoutChoose the layout of the main portfolio page; you can select from: Grid, Flat, Masonry Blog Style, Masonry Hover Details, Masonry Minimal, Masonry Flat, List, and Exposure.
  • ColumnsDefine how many portfolios your want to display in a row.

This option works in layouts Flat, Grid, Masonry Blog Style, and Masonry Hover Details.

  • Hover TitleShow Post Title instead of Hover Icons
    Only for short post titles. It does not work with Image Frame style: Zoom.
  • Portfolio MetaChoose which information should be displayed in your portfolio. You can choose from author, date, categories, and tags.
  • Load MoreShow the “Load More” button instead of pagination links.
  • FiltersSelect which filters you want to display. The options are: show, show only categories, show only tags, show only authors and hide.
  • Filters | jQuery filteringEnable or disable the dynamic posts filtering. This does not reload the page.

Important!

It does not work with the “Load more” feature

That’s why you should set a really big amount of posts per page value

 

Single Post

  • TitleShow/Hide Single Project Title.
  • Related Projects | CountProvide the number of related projects to display.
    The 0 value will disable related projects.
  • Related Projects | ColumnsHow many related projects do you want to display in a row?
  • CommentsShow/Hide Comments
  • Layout IDUse custom layout for all single projects

Advanced

  • Permalink | Single Project slugChange the permalink of the single project page.
  • Permalink | Category slugChange the permalink of a category.

Important!

Some slugs are reserved!

Single Project and Category slugs must be different.
After you change them, go to Settings > Permalinks and click Save changes. Please do not use slugs such as a shop, portfolio, blog, etc. Those are might be already in use and may cause issues.

 

Shop

Layout

  • Products per page Set the number of products on the main shop page.
  • LayoutChoose the layout of the main shop page; you can select from: Grid 3 col, Grid 4 col, Masonry, and List.
  • Catalogue ModeEnabled will remove all Add to Cart buttons. Users will not be able to buy anything.

Options

  • ImagesSpecify, which image you want to use as a product image. You can choose to disable the default option to display images and use an external plugin.
  • Add to Cart ButtonShow Cart button on archives.
  • DescriptionsDisplay descriptions on archives.
  • SidebarSelect on which pages you want to display the sidebar. Options are All (Shop, Categories, Products) and Shop, Categories only.
  • SliderSelect on which pages you want to display the slider.
  • Sold OutChange the “Sold Out” label.

Single Product

  • StyleChoose one of the styles for the single product page. You can choose from accordion, tabs, or modern.

Important!

Preferred image size

For Modern style recommended image width is 900px (1200px without sidebar). You can change the WooCommerce image sizes in the WordPress customizer.

 
  • TitleSelect where the titles of products should appear. You can choose from Content, Content & Subheader, or Subheader.
  • Related Products | CountProvide the number of related products to display.
    The 0 value will disable related projects.

Advanced

  • Cart | IconSelect icon for the shop cart in the header.

Important!

Did Icon not update?

If the selected icon did not update, try adding something to your cart so the WooCommerce plugin can re-load it.

 

  • WidthProvide the size in pixels for featured images
  • HeightProvide the size in pixels for featured images
  • CropChoose if you want to resize or resize and crop the featured image
  • DescriptionSmall explanation of which elements this image will be used for
